Our most frequently asked questions

What makes candy claws better than other press-ons?

We have developed custom-made moulds that create stronger press-ons than the moulds used by other brands. While most press-ons are made with ABS plastic, our nails are made with 100% soft acrylic to achieve a salon-done look.

We constantly get feedback that our nail glue is the best that our customers have tried without damaging their nails.

What is included in each set and what extras do I need?

24-30 nails, nail glue tube, 1x set of adhesive tabs, nail file, cuticle stick, alcohol wipe.

Whilst a glue dropper is included in every pack (enough glue for 2-3 wears), we offer brush-on glue as an add-on as some customers find the brush a faster & easier way to apply the nails.

The adhesive tabs 10pk can be purchased if you wish to reuse your nails multiple times for special events/weekends (10pk = 10 wears).

I have very wide nail beds. Will candy claws fit my nails?

We take pride in having a larger range of nail sizes than most of our competitors, with 12-15 size options in each set. All of our shapes are made to fit most people (sizing based on average nail widths), but if you do have larger/wider nail beds, we recommend opting for the shapes with 15 sizes per pack. These are our short ovals & short almonds. See size guide.

If you do have any issue finding a nail that fits perfectly, simply select a bigger size and file it down for a few seconds to get the right fit.

How do I remove my candy claws without damaging my nails?

If you have used nail glue, wait for your press-ons to begin lifting on their own before attempting to remove your nails (this typically happens around the 2 week mark).

If for some reason you do need to remove your nails before they begin lifting, you can use acetone.

Soak your hands in warm water mixed with soap and any type of oil. Apply the soap and oil directly to your nails and massage it into the cracks to speed up the process.

Once your nails begin to loosen, use the cuticle stick to make gentle rocking motions underneath the edges of the nails to assist them in popping off.

P.S. there will be zero damage to your natural nail when removed correctly!

What about showering/doing the dishes/taking baths & swimming?

Your candy claws need to be lifting on their own before they can be removed, so yes - you can still shower (and swim)! We do however recommend using gloves when washing up to prolong wear time.

What happens after 2 weeks?

As your nails grow, the candy claws will begin to lift. As this stage, you can remove them and reapply.
